Dengue patients are increasing in Bhangura

The number of dengue patients has increased in Bhanguraupazila of Pabna.

This month, 15 people have been admitted to the Upazila Health Complex.

Last month, 12 people were treated in the inter-department of the health complex.

However, the number of dengue patients here is believed to be several times higher.

Because many patients go for outdoor treatment.

Besides, many people receive treatment from outside doctors, whose accounts are not in the government accounts.

Meanwhile, citing the unhygienic external environment of Bhangura Health Complex, many patients complained that Aedes mosquitoes are being produced from here.

On the surface, the cover of the septic tank of the health complex is open and dirty all around.

Next to it is a pile of garbage. Grass has grown around the walls of the hospital.

The drainage system is also dirty. Mosquitoes are born in these dirts, along with the stench.

A person named Sirajul Islam of Ashtamanisha who came for outdoor treatment said, doctors give various advices to prevent dengue but they himself do not follow them.

Instead, around the hospital building, a breeding ground for Aedes mosquitoes has been created.

In this matter, Dr. Alamin, Resident Medical Officer of Bhangura Health Complex was asked about this, he said that the post of gardener is vacant here.

Due to which it is not possible to do regular cleaning outside. But after a few days, the garbage was cleaned with labour, he said.
