15 BNP men held from Nayapaltan

More than 15 leaders and activists of BNP have been allegedly arrested from in front of the party’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka and its adjacent areas in the early hours of Sunday.

Following the incident, BNP Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas rushed to the party office and made the allegation to the reporters.

Being informed, another BNP Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy also came to the party office and talked about a sudden increased presence of law enforcers in front of Nayapaltan central office.

After coming out of the party office around 1:15 am, Mirza Abbas told journalists: “We came to the party office sensing the presence of police in front of our office. More than 15 leaders and activists have been arrested since the evening.”
