Workshop on water efficient irrigation

Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Irrigation and Water Management Division organized a workshop on Water -Efficient Irrigation Management for Enhancing Crop Production in Char Areas of Northern Bangladesh at FMPE Seminar Room of the institute on Saturday which DBBL-CSR-GraTA funded .

Dr. Debasish Sarker, Director General of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute was present at the workshop as chief guest. Professor Dr. Md. Monjurul Alam, Chairman, the DBBL-CSR expert committee and Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, BAU was present as the guest of honor.

Dr. Dilwar Ahmed Choudhury, Director(Planning & Evaluation), presided over the session while Md. Shahadat Hossain, Deputy Managing Director, Dutch Bangla Bank Ltd, and Dr. Engr. Md. Abdur Razzak Akhanda, Program Coordinator, DBBL-CSR-GraTA Secretariat, DBBL were present as special guests. Dr. Sujit Kumar Biswas, Principal Investigator & Chief Scientific Officer present the keynote paper on the DBBL-CSR-GraTA project and welcome address.
