DSHE seeks info of flood-affected educational instns

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has sought comprehensive information about flood-affected educational institutions and students.
Due to heavy rains and landslides, floods have occurred in several districts of Southwestern regions of the country including Chattogram, Bandarban and Cox’s Bazar.
As a result, the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination, started on Thursday was postponed along with the three-day closure of educational institutions in these regions, reports BSS.
A notice signed by Lilun Nahar, Assistant Director, Monitoring and Evaluation Section of DSHE, today informed that floods have occurred in different parts of the country due to heavy rainfall.
As a result, it has been asked to send overall information of educational imitation and its student as per attached table to the e-mail (director.mew@gmail.com) of the Monitoring and Evaluation Wing by next 22 August, if any educational institution in the district/upazila under the jurisdiction of DSHE is affected by flood.
