Walton receives nearly Tk 250cr orders from local and overseas companies

The recently ended ‘International Advanced Components and Technology (ATS) Expo-2023’, the country’s first-ever sole-company industrial fair hosted by Walton, received a great response from domestic and foreign companies.

During the expo from August 10 to 12, Walton received around Tk250 crore worth orders from various local and overseas companies.

Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s Managing Director and CEO Golam Murshed disclosed it at a post-press meet of the ‘ATS Expo-2023’ held at Walton Corporate Office in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential Area on Thursday (August 17).

The press conference was also attended by, among others, Walton Hi-Tech Industries’ CMO Didarul Alam Khan, Senior Executive Directors Md Tanvir Rahman, Tofail Ahmed and Mohammad Shahjada Salim, Senior Deputy Executive Director Rabiul Islam Milton.

Addressing the press conference, Walton Hi-Tech’s Managing Director and CEO Golam Murshed said: “Walton is the first company in Bangladesh hosted an industrial expo to showcase more than 50,000 industrial materials, components, solutions and advanced technology.

At the ATS Expo, we received huge responses beyond our expectations.

Walton’s industrial fair was visited by high-level representatives from government and private sectors, including the Commerce Minister, Planning Minister, Commerce Secretary, Philippines Ambassador to Dhaka and important persons of different local and foreign companies.
