Govt officer killed in Shibalaya

An employee of the family planning department died on the spot in a fatal motorcycle accident yesterday morning near Falsatia bus stand of Shibalaya upazila on the Dhaka-Aricha highway. He was an office assistant at Shibalaya Upazila Health Complex. Family Planning Upazila Family Planning Officer Mridul Kumar Acharya said that Shafikul, a resident of North Tara village of Sadar Upazila, lost control of his motorcycle near Falsatia bus stand while coming to the office. A case has been filed in Baragail Highway Police Station.
