Husband held for wife’s murder

A housewife was beaten and strangulation to death over family feud in Kishoreganj ‘s Nagua area due to a family feud on Tuesday morning.
The victim identified as Rokeya Akhter Munni (35), a mother of three daughters, youngest child is 7 months old.
Police also arrested victim’s husband Mahbubur Rahman Rupam (45) in this incident.
The victim’s mother Mahmuda Akhter said that Rokeya Akhtar Munni, daughter of Abul Kashem of Rahimpur village of Hossainpur upazila, was married to Mahbubur Rahman Rupam of Haibatnagar area of the town 10 years ago.
