Municipal Councillor arrested

Police have arrested at least 3 people including municipal councilor in case of cow theft in Hossainpur of Kishoreganj on early Tuesday.
The arrested are – Councilor of ward 1 of Hossainpur municipality.
Abul Hossain Farooq (47), Saiful Islam (43) and Omar Farooq.
According to police said, a complaint was lodged at the police station regarding the theft of a cow from the house of Nazim Uddin’s son Masud Mia of Charhajipur village in the upazila. Police arrested 3 people from different places and recovered 3 stolen cows and 1 calf.
The arrested men were sent to Kishorganj district jail by the CJM Court order.
