Staff Reporter :
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said the government is not obstructing any political programme of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). The allegations they are raising are false. Leaders and activists of BNP arrested so far are wanted accused. No one is being detained without a rational cause. Legal action is being taken against those who are committing crime, disobeying law, causing public suffering.
The Home Minister made the above remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the programme organized at DRU on the occasion of celebrating four decades of Crime Reporters’ Association of Bangladesh (CRAB) on Sunday morning.
He said that the prime minister is always talking about political practice, not political torture. Law enforcement forces are not interfering with political programs. Rather, it is showing patience in the event of fire and vandalism in the name of the program.
