Daring dacoiy committed in Fakirhat

A daring dacoity was committed in Rony Stores in Attaki area under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat district recently, according to a delayed report received here.
On information Police of Fakirhat Model PS visited the place of occurrence on next day. According to the police, at dead of night (at about 3 pm) a gang of masked dacoits consist of 8/10 persons raided the Rony Stores situated at Ghospara of the village Attaki at the night and after braking locks of the shutters entered into the shop. At that time Swapan Majumder, night-guard of the shop woke up on hearing the sounds. Then the dacoits tied his hands and legs with ropes and beat him mercilessly and looted cash Tk.4 l;akh, 10 cases of cold drink and other valuables worth Tk.6 lakh. It was claimed by Rony Ghos, the owner of the shop. Before leaving the shop the dacoits broke all the CCTV cameras and took away the footages of hard disks.
