BD U-19 Cricket team beat SA U-19 in fourth one-dayer

Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team beat South Africa (SA) Under-19 Cricket team by four wickets in their fourth one-dayer cricket match at the Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi on Friday.
Sent into bat first, South Africa Youth scored a meagre total of 128 off 35.2 overs.
In reply, Bangladesh Youth coasted home making 131 for the loss of six wickets when they had 126 balls to spare.
Bangladesh lost their early three wickets for 46 runs.
Then, Rizan Hossain and Nayeem Ahmed repaired the damage contributing together 31 runs for the fourth wicket partnership before Nayeem Ahmed was dismissed by Esa Gangat when Bangladesh’s score was 77 for the loss of four wickets.
Nayeem Ahmed scored 21 from 16 deliveries with two fours and a sixer.
Number-Six batter Mohammad Shihab (0) was dismissed by Liam Alder when the hosts’ total was 77 for the loss of five wickets.
Rizan Hossain was dismissed by Alder when Bangladesh’s score was 78 for the loss of six wickets
Rizan Hossan made 22 from 50 deliveries including three fours.
Fifth-down Md Asharafuzzaman and Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby rescued their team from danger and played the key role to reach the winning spot contributing together 53 runs in the unbroken seventh wicket stand.
Ashrafuzzaman remained unbeaten with 25 runs. His 30-ball innings had three fours and a sixer.
Mahfuzur Rahman remained unbeaten with 25 runs. He hit three fours and a six in his 39-ball innings.
Earlier, opener Adil Bin Siddik hit a superb 25. His 16-ball knock was belted with three fours and a sixer.
Alder grabbed three wickets at the cost of 45 runs, while Romashan Pilly, Easa Gangat and Kwena Maphaka took one wicket each.
Earlier, Bangladesh bowlers dominated South African batters.
Md Rafiuzzaman Rafi captured five wickets in the space of 18 runs, while Rizan Hossan grabbed three wickets instead of 24 runs and Wasi Siddiquee bagged two wickets giving 23 runs.
Opener Lhuan-dre-Pretorius is the only batter of South Africa, who could make a respectable score. He notched up a fine 43 using 50 deliveries including five shots through the ropes.
