Miscreants killed auto-rickshaw driver

Miscreants killed an auto-rickshaw driver in Ghatail upazila of Tangail by slitting his throat. This incident took place in Chunutia village of the upazila in the early hours of Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Alam Mia, son of Mohammad Ali Master of Chunutia village. Mohammad Lokman Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ghatail Police Station confirmed this information.
Family members and neighbors said that on Thursday morning, they found burgle in the bed room of Alam. At that time, as the door of the room was locked from inside, neighbors called out to Alam but getting no response from inside they informed the police. Later, coming to the spot, breaking the door of the room police recovered Alam’s dead body with slit throat.
Mohammad Lokman Hossain said that the body was recovered from the spot after receiving information on Thursday morning and sent it to Tangail General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Moreover, a special police operation is underway to arrest the suspects involved in this incident, the OC also added.
