UNO, Sapahar UZ got integrity award

For keeping outstanding contribution to implement the government activities UNO of Sapahar Md Abdullah Al Mamun has been awarded the integrity strategy award at Deputy Commissioner’s conference room in Naogaon on Sunday.

DC Khalid Mehedi Hasan BPAA handed over an honorary crest, certificate and a cheque equal to the basic salary to the dynamic UNO.
Earlier in 2022, he earned the honor of being nominated as the best UNO at both Naogaon district and Rajshahi divisional levels for his special contribution to primary education.
After joining in Sapahar Upazila as UNO he worked diligently and relentlessly for the overall development of the Upazila with integrity and ethics. He is known as humanitarian and public relations UNO to people of all walks of life. He has set a shining example of outstanding contribution and integrity throughout his career.

He has been praised by local public representatives for doing exceptional work in the history, tradition, education, sports and liberation war and tourism development of the Upazila.
One of his innovative initiatives is the “Joy Bangla Chatwar” built in the upazila premises to capture the scene of the historical speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 7th March among the young generation.

He built “Sapahar Tennis Court” to enrich the sports field of the upazila. As Sapahar Upazila is famous for Amrupali mangoes, he took the initiative to build “Sapahar Mango Chatter” on the model of this mango.

To make Sapahar’s traditional Jabai Bill attractive to tourists, they built “Jobai Bill Fish Square”, selfie points, various seating structures. The construction of “Upazila Parishad Muktamanch” and walkway around the Upazila Parishad pond are notable among the initiatives undertaken by him.
