Muslims torture in China protested

A human chain was formed in Sylhet on Wednesday to protest the brutal attacks, detentions, ethnic cleansing and torture of Uighur Muslims in China’s Xinjiang province . On the occasion of the Uighur Muslim Genocide Day (Wikmiri Massacre) this human chain was formed at Court Point in the City under the banner of Human Rights Protection Council Sylhet. Maulana Abdul Malik Chowdhury, Joint Secretary General of Jamiat Ulamae Islam Bangladesh and President of Sylhet Metropolitan, gave a speech as the chief guest in the human chain. Maulana Kaychan Mahmud Akbari, Principal of Jamia Daruru Rashad Sylhet presided over the human chain.
Maulana Ghazi Rahmatullah, Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Sylhet Metropolitan President,Maulana Faizul Haque Jalalabadi, Islami Oikyajot Sylhet Metropolitan President, spoke as special guests in the human chain. young organizer Maulana Shahid Hatimi conducted the programme. Apart from this, various social organizations, madrasa students, media workers participated in the human chain.
The speakers strongly demanded the immediate release of one million Uyghur men detained by China. The country's government is urged to stop the persecution of Uighur Muslims in China and make a way for them to live freely.
Meat distribution completed
Sacrificial meat distribution has been completed under the initiative of Zaytun Welfare Trust in Sylhet. Sylhet Jamaat rally on July 15

Sylhet City branch of Jamaat-e-Islami has requested for permission to hold a rally in Sylhet next Saturday (July 15) with a ten-point demand. Initiative to make youth rally success
