SP Subrata, five others sued for bribery

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against six persons, including Superintendent of Police Subrata Kumar Halder of Rangpur Range DIG office, on the charge of bribery of Taka one and half crore.

On Wednesday (July 5) in the integrated district office of the ACC in Madaripur, the deputy director of the organizationHafizul Islam filed the case as plaintiff.
A case has been filed against the accused under Section 161/420/109 and Section 5(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947.
This information was given by ACC Deputy Director (Public Relations) Muhammad Arif Sadek.

The other accused in the case are the dismissed constable Md. Nuruzzaman Sumon, Zahidul Islam, former medical assistant of Madaripur District Police Hospital Pius Bala, former TSI Golam Rahman and resident of Madaripur Haider Farazi.
