Community policing and beat policing rally in Gazipur

Gazipur Sadar Upazila Community Policing and Beat Policing Assembly 2023 has been held keeping in mind the motto of community policing, ‘Peace and order everywhere, Beat Policing Baribari Safe Samaj Gari’. The rally was held at Bhawanipur Muktijoddha College ground of Bhawalgarh Union of Sadar Upazila on Monday (July 19) at 10 am on the initiative of Joydevpur Thana Police and Community Policing Forum. Gazipur Superintendent of Police Kazi Shafiqul Alam BPM spoke as the chief guest in the discussion and it was chaired by Gazipur Additional Superintendent of Police Sanwar Hossain.

He said, by avoiding drugs, militancy, juvenile gangs, child marriage and the ethical aspects of the society, he emphasized on positive role and appealed to everyone including the parents. Poet, journalist and writer Shahan Sahabuddin also spoke at the event, Gazipur Sadar Upazila Chairman Advocate Rina Parveen, Gazipur Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Syed Murad Ali, Gazipur Additional Superintendent of Police and Sadar Circle and Chief Advisor of Joydevpur Thana Community Policing Forum Md. Mirazul Islam (PPM), Mahatab Uddin, officer-in-charge of Joydevpur police station, Chairman of Bhawalgarh Union Parishad and President of Joydevpur police station executive committee of community policing forum. Salah Uddin Sarkar, Convener of Joydevpur Thana Community Policing Forum, Freedom Fighter Farid Alam and others.
