DUJA gets new committee

The Dhaka University Journalist Association (DUJA) announced its nine-member executive committee where Al Sadi Bhuiyan, DU correspondent of Jagonews24.com, and Mohiuddin Mujahid Mahi, DU correspondent of BSS, have been elected the President and General Secretary respectively.

Al Sadi is a postgraduate student of Anthropology Department of Dhaka University (DU) where Mujahid Mahi is a post-graduate student of Mass Communication and Journalism Department.
However, Rasel Sarkar, DU correspondent of bdnews24.com, has been made Vice President while Nasimul Huda has been made the Joint Secretary of the organisation.

The other office bearers are Finance Secretary Imdadul Azad of Radio Today, Office Secretary Jafor Ali of Bhorer dak, and executive member Md Siddik Faruk of daily Ajker Patrika, Khalid Mahmud of Sangbad and Hasan Ali of Naya Diganta.
Chief election commissioner and former DUJA president Borhanul Hoque Shamrat announced the panel at DUJA office around 3pm on Tuesday.
