Bangladesh edge past Cambodia in FIFA friendly

Bangladesh bolstered their SAFF Championship preparation with a 1-0 win over hosts Cambodia in a FIFA International friendly at National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh on Thursday. Mojibur Rahman Jony scored his first international goal in his third appearance for the men in red and green, striking the all-important goal in the first half. The midfielder, who made his debut against Seychelles in March this year, volleyed past Cambodian goalkeeper Keo-Soksela in the 24th minute after a long ball found him unmarked inside the box.
