Litton is fit, but Tamim?

Wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das took part in the practice session on Sunday. He participated in the net session with full rhythm. He practiced at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur. Earlier, Litton Das could not take part in the practice in regular basis. The practice of Bangladesh Test squad started from June 4 marking the upcoming lone Test match against Afghanistan at the SBNCS from June 14 to June 18. Litton Das underwent MRI and after that no complication was found. Litton Das took part in the fullfledged batting practice yesterday.
On the other hand, dashing opener Tamim Iqbal has been suffering from back pain for a long days. It was his old pain. Physician of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Dr Debashis Chowdhury said to a local website, ” Tamim had an old pain. He was suffered by the pain. It is not a new injury.”
It may be mentioned that Tamim Iqbal and Litton Das could not take part in the practice sessions regularly. They had also fever.
Litton Das is totally fit now. He took part in the net session with his own rhythm. It seemed that there is no physical problem inside him.
But Tamim Iqbal was not totally okay in the practice session, which was held on Sunday. The country best opener did not get his own rhythm. He took part in the net session with his old back pain.
After playing a delivery, Tamim Iqbal touched his hip with his hands and took a rest for a while. It seemed he was getting pain.
Bangladesh Test squad will get only two days before taking part in the lone Test match against Afghanistan. Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan could not take part in the lone Test match against Afghanistan due to finger injury. Tamim’s participation in the only Test match is also uncertain. Test match is a game of longer version cricket it usually take a lot of time. So, Tamim has to be fit cent percent before the Test match. If Tamim could not recover from his pain, the BCB has to find an alternative of Tamim. In that case, the BCB will call a batter, who will open for Bangladesh team.
