AL misleads people in name of dialogue: BNP
Staff Reporter :
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir accused the ruling Awami League leaders of misleading the people in the name of dialogue.
“The ruling party leaders are trying to mislead people through their contradictory statements on political impasse over the next national polls,” Mirza Fakhrul said while addressing a discussion organised by the University Teachers’ Association of Bangladesh (UTAB) marking the 42nd death anniversary of late President Ziaur Rahman at Dhaka Reports’ Unity in the capital on Thursday.
“It is Awami League who can do well diverting people’s attention from one issue to another direction. The three leaders of Awami League spoke in three ways about dialogue. As people have become angry over the power crisis, they’re creating another issue to divert their attention,” the BNP leader said.
