Man, woman found dead in pvt car in city

Staff Reporter  :
The bodies of a woman and a man have been recovered from a car parked in capital’s Elenbari area of Tejgaon on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Delwar Hossain, 53, and Mousumi Akter Rani, 41.
Tejgaon Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Shah Alam confirmed the matter to The New Nation on Wednesday afternoon saying that police received information regarding the two bodies in the private car around 7.30am in the morning.

“Primarily we think they might have died due to shortage of oxygen or consuming sexually stimulating drugs, as 10 to 12 sexually stimulating tablets were found in a jar recovered from the incident scene, he said.
However, the actual cause of death will be known after the autopsy report, he added.
However, Delwar and Moushumi were not related, according to Apoorba Hasan, oC of Tejgaon Police Station.
“We suspect that they passed out in the car after engaging in sexual acts while on drugs or other stimulants. They may have then died of suffocation or some other cause.”
Earlier, locals found their unclothed bodies inside the covered car, the engine of which was turned on and attracted the attention of locals. Police said locals called Delwar’s brother after they were able to recognise him. The law enforcers recovered the bodies from inside the car after the brother drove the vehicle to the garage of the staff quarters.
