MBL brings Global Debit Card

Mercantile Bank Limited has been launches the Global Debit Card service for the customers on the occasion of its 24th anniversary. Bank’s Chairman Morshed Alam M.P., inaugurates the card as the chief guest after a press conference held at its head office in the capital on Sunday. In his speech, Morshed Alam highlighted the bank’s significant achievements over the last years and underscored the future action plans. He also urged that MBL will prioritize discovering technology based products and services to make sure continuous customer services.

Abdul Hannan, Vice Chairmen, M Amanullah, Risk Management Committee Chairman, MA Khan Belal, Chairman of Mercantile Bank Securities Limited, Akram Hossain (Humayun), Mosharref Hossain, Mohammad Abdul Awal, Directors, Jalal Hossain Khan Mia, Shareholder, Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO, Mati Ul Hasan, AMD, Tapash Chandra Paul, CFO and other senior officials were present.
Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO said that recovering classified loans will be the priority of the bank at this fiscal year. Women entrepreneurs, Agriculture and SME sector will be given preference regarding new loans whereas new Agent Banking outlets and Upashkhas will be opened across the country to ensure the access of the banking services to the unbanked people. Moreover, Digital Banking services will be easier and smart with the innovative products in the coming days, he added.
