3 Bangladeshi workers burnt to death in UAE

Three Bangladeshi expatriates were killed in a massive fire that broke out in a sofa factory in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday morning.
The fire was reportedly caused by an electrical short circuit around 4.00am The deceased have been identified as Md Yousuf Miah, 45, son of one Abdul Kader, Tareq Hossain Badal, 42, son of one Meer Hossain and Md Rasel, 26, son of one Abdul Wahab.
They all were from Tarabaria village under ward No 2 of Domurua union in Senbagh upazila of Noakhali district.
Quoting the family members of the deceased, Domurua Union Parishad Chairman Shawkot Hossain Kanon confirmed the matter to the media on Wednesday.
The death of the three expatriates has cast a shadow of mourning over the area, the UP Chairman said.
OC of Senbag Police Station Md. Iqbal Hossain Patwari also confirmed the incident and said the police are making detailed inquiries about the dead expatriates.
Noakhali Deputy Commissioner Dewan Mahabub Rahman said he will talk to the families of the victims to take necessary measures in this regard.
