Safe Motherhood Day celebrated

On the occasion of Safe Motherhood Day in Rangpur, rallies and discussions were held. Rangpur Divisional Director (Health) Dr. ABM Abu Hanif was present as the chief guest on Monday .Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Jahangir Kabir presided over the discussion in the District Civil Surgeon Auditorium. Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Ravi Shankar Mondal, Deputy Civil Surgeon, Dr. Ruhul Amin were special guests. Dhaka Ahsania Mission representative Sahabul Islam, BRAC representative Ashraful Islam, Wall Vision Subah Talfa, ESDO Masud Rana, Save the Children Faridul Zulfizar and others spoke. In the morning, a colorful rally took out at the District Civil Surgeon Auditorium and circled the main road. Health department officials and representatives of various NGOs were also present.
