National Women’s Rugby begins today

The Walton National Women’s Rugby Competition begins today at the Paltan Maidan in the city. Bangladesh Rugby Union will arrange the rugby tournament under auspices of Walton Group.

A total of 18 teams dividing into four groups will take part in the upcoming rugby meet.
Marking the upcoming rugby competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Union (BRU) Mousum Ali, Joint-Secretary of BRU Sayeed Ahmed, Senior Executive Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anower Dawn were present at the conference, among others.

Top one teams from each group will get tickets of the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be held on May 27. The winners of the semi-finals will face each other in the final on May 28. The rugby meet will be concluded on May 28.
