Attack on BNP rally in Feni, 30 injured

Awami League has been accused of beating and injuring at least 30 leaders and workers of BNP and its affiliates and affiliated organizations in various unions of Feni. These attacks took place in various unions and municipalities of the district on Thursday afternoon. The seriously injured in the attack are Shakil, convenor of Parashuram Upazila Jubo Dal, Yashir Arafat, joint convener of Feni Sadar Upazila Youth Dal, Motbi Union Sramik Dal President Badal, Jubo Dal leader Yasin, Masum, Chanua Union Chhatra Dal leader Hriday and Omar, Md Rahim (34) of Nazir Road ,Feni town. , Abul Hossain (32) and Yachin Arafat (28) of Barahipur, Aminul Haque Arif (25) of Lakshiara of Sadar Upazila, Zafar Ullah Badal (40) of Pachgachi and others.

Feni 250-bed modern general hospital duty doctor ASM Sohrab Al Hasin Tarveer said that eight injured patients were treated at Feni Sadar Hospital till evening. One has been sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
