Rain with gusty wind likely over country

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24-hours from 9am on Wednesday.

“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions with hails at isolated places over the country”, it said.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi, Noagaon, Moulvibazar, Jashore and Kushtia and it may abate, reports BSS.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 38.3 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum temperature on Wednesday was 19.6 degrees Celsius at Dimla.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am on Wednesday was recorded 100 millimeters (mm) at Sylhet.
