6 killed in separate road crashes

At least six people were killed and several others injured in two separate road crashes across the country on Thursday.
In Bhola, three people were killed in separate road accidents of the district on Thursday.
The accidents took place in Bhola Sadar upazila and Borhanuddin upazila. Md Monir Mia, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Borhanuddin Police Station, said two people were killed when a speedy bus ran over a motorcycle at Boudderpul area around 9am. The deceased have been identified as Md Monir Sharif, 28 and Md Azgar Ali, 55.
On the other hand, another person was killed in a collision between a bus and a van at Bishwaroad area adjacent to Poranganj bazar in the morning. The deceased is Md Arif Hossain, 25, the van driver, son of Md Ali. Md Shahin Fakir, Officer-in-charge of Bhola Model Police Station, confirmed the matter.
In Naogaon, three people were killed when a passenger bus and mini truck collided head on in Chak Gauri Bazar area of Mahadebpur upazila of the district on Thursday afternoon.
Naogaon Additional Police Super Gaziur Rahman confirmed the matter to the media saying that a Rajshahi-bound bus collided head on with Naogaon-bound mini truck on Naogaon-Rajshahi Highway in the area on Thursday, leaving two people dead on the spot and eight others injured.
