Rice distributed among poor families

On the initiative of Lohagara Upazila Parishad, 10 kg of rice per person has been distributed among 2000 needy and poor families of nine unions on Monday.
On the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, these rice were distributed among the poor families in the holy month of Ramzan on this occation in the organisation of Upazila Parishad Chairman Ziaul Haque Chowdhury Babul was the the chief guest at the distribution ceremony. Upazila Parishad Chairman Ziaul Haque Chowdhury Babul was present.
Besides, Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sharif Uliah, CA Rubel of Upazila Parishad office and others were present. Upazila Parishad Chairman Ziaul Haque Chowdhury Babul said, considering the plight of helpless people in the month of Ramadan, according to the instructions of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, upazila Parishad distributed 10 kg of rice to 2,000 needy families.
