Dr Zafrullah’s health condition unchanged

Health condition of the hospitalized veteran Freedom Fighter and Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury remained unchanged on Saturday.
The seriously ill Dr Zafrullah Chowdhuryd is now undergoing treatment at the Gonoshasthaya Kendra Nagar Hospital in the capital.
Several prominent citizens visited Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury at the hospital on Saturday.
Former Adviser of Caretaker Government Barrister Mainul Hosein visited the ailing Dr Zafrullah at the Gonoshasthaya Kendro yesterday. He remained at his bedside for sometime and wished him to stay strong for early recovery. He found him very frail disabling him to speak.
Dr. Zafrullah’s wife was present during the visits.
Besides, Poet and Columnist Farhad Mazhar, Columnist and writer Farida Akhter, Professor Dilara Chowdhury, Bhasani Onusary Parishad Convener Freedom Fighter Sheikh Rabiul Islam Babul, Freedom Fighter Abul Bashar and Dr. Ali Ahmed also visited Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury yesterday, Gonoshasthaya Kendra press adviser Jahangir Alam Mintu said.
He said the health condition of the veteran freedom fighter Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury was unchanged and stable.
The eminent personalities stayed some time besides Dr. Zafrullah and get informed his health condition and about the medical treatment.
The health condition of the veteran freedom fighter and activist Dr Zafrullah deteriorated on Friday.
Gonoshasthaya Kendra press adviser Jahagir Alam Mintu requested people through a statement to pray for the recovery of Zafrullah Chowdhury.
Jahangir Alam Mintu said that Zafrullah was suffering from kidney diseases and lately developed old age related health complications.
Zafrullah is currently under the treatment of professor Mamun Mustafi, head of the Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College Nephrology Department.
