Shafiqul Qadir, new principal of Gafargaon Abdur Rahman Degree College

Popular educationist, writer and journalist of Gafargaon Md. Shafiqul Qadir has joined as the new principal renowned Kandipara Abdur Rahman Degree College of Gafargaon Upazila of Mymensingh district on Wednesday.
 He expressed his gratitude to the local parliament member Fahmi Gulandaz Babel and all the public representatives and the students of the area and requested the sincere cooperation of the new principal to build a quality and ideal educational institution. He previously served as Vice-Principal of the same college.
Currently, he is serving as the president of Gafargaon Press Club.During the joining, the teachers-students and parents of the college congratulated and welcomed the new principal with floral greetings.
Also Gafargaon Press Club gave reception and honours.
It should be noted that Md. Shafiqul Qadir passed SSC and HSC in 1982 and 1985 and obtained honors and masers degree in history of achievement from Rajshahi University. He started journalism from his student days. He served as the President of Rajshahi University Press Club. 1994 Joined Abdur Rahman Degree College as Lecturer. In 2011, he joined the same college as a vice-principal.
Md. Shafiqul Qadir served as a teacher in Abdur Rahman Degree College for more than 17 years, vice-principal of the same college for 11 years 3 months and acting principle 2 years 8 months with great skill and reputation. He is currently serving as Gafargaon upazila representative of the daily Amader Somoy and New Nation .
