Case filed for school girl murder in Osmaninagar

A case has been filed at the Osmaninagar Police Station by her father Piyush Chandra Singh as the plaintiff in the murder of schoolgirl Dipa Rani Singh (14) in Osmaninagar in Sylhet on Saturday (March 11) against unknown persons.
According to the complaint in the case, Dipa’s father Piyush Chandra Singh and his family members believed that sometime before 5:30 am on March 9, his daughter Dipa Rani Singh was taken out of his rented house by an unknown person on the roof of a single-storey building attached to the 4-storey building of the house. Perpetrators commit murder in a planned manner to achieve the same objective. The unidentified assailants quickly and cleverly fled from the scene after killing. Deepa has a severe bloody wound on the back of her head and a scar on the left side of her back.
OC of Osmaninagar police station SM Mainuddin confirmed the authenticity of the case and said that Dipa’s father Piyush Chandra Singh has filed a case at Osmaninagar police station as the plaintiff. Efforts are on to unravel the mystery of the incident and arrest the real culprits.
It is to be noted that the bloodied body of Dipa Rani Singh was found on the roof of the one-storey building under construction by Arunoday Pal Jhalak, Chairman of Tajpur UP, on School Road in Tajpur Bazar, Osmaninagar, last Thursday (March 9). Deceased Deepa was the daughter of Piyush Chandra Singh of Talagram under Barura police station in Comilla district and was a student of class VIII at Tajpur Mangalchandi Nishikant Government Model High School.
