More than 35 per cent students passed at the MBBS admission test held on Friday at 19 centres across the country.
A total of 49,194 students got pass marks, of them 57.69 percent are female and 42.31 percent are male students.
Health Minister Zahid Maleque announced the results at a press conference held at the Health Directorate in Dhaka’s Mohakhali on Sunday.
Rafsan Zaman, a student of Chittagong Medical College Center, is the highest scorer of the test.
The candidates can also get their results in the websites of the Health Directorate, medical education directorate and also sent by mobile SMS.
The pass mark was 40 out of 100 in the multiple choice question test.
A total of 1,39,217 students were applied to sit in the exam. Of them a number of 3,404
didn’t take part the examination.
A number of 4,350 seats are available in 37 public Medical College and 6,772 seats are available in 71 private Medical College.
