1 killed in road accident in Madhukhali

One person was killed in a road accident in Faridpur, Madhukhali. The deceased is the son of truck driver Md. Deen Mohammad of Boalia police station in Chuadanga district. Hafizur Rahman (30).
 On Thursday morning, Dhaka Metrotruck No. T-24-6772 loaded with bran wood while moving from Faridpur towards Magura lost control in front of Parikshitpur Bakkar Mollyar Fish Hatchery on the highway and got stuck with a randy tree on the side of the road and the front part of the truck was damaged.
Helper of the truck Abul Kalam (25) is absconding. On the spot, Madukhali Police, Highway Police and Fire Service personnel recovered the truck and the body and handed it over to the Highway Police. Madukhali Police Station Incharge (OC) Shahidul Islam confirmed the matter and said, ‘We have recovered the damaged truck. The body of the driver was recovered and sent to Faridpur Sadar Hospital morgue’.
