Attack on journalist protested in Kapasia

A human chain, demonstration and protest meeting was held on Saturday morning on the initiative of Kapasia Press Club to protest the attack on 5 journalists in Rushadia village of Baria Union of Gazipur.
 At the funeral, terrorists led by Baria Union Parishad Chairman Habibur Rahman Habib attacked the journalists after the Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Gazipur took journalists to inspect a controversial fish project and dam. In the meantime, Iqbal Ahmad Sarkar, staff reporter of Gazipur TV and Daily Manabzamin newspaper, Azharul Haque, staff reporter of Gazipur TV, Shamsul Haque Bhuiyan, Gazipur representative of Manabkantha newspaper, Atiqur Rahman, district representative of Mohana Television, Nuru were injured. Kapasia Press Club and leaders of Kapasia Press Community formed a human chain at the press club premises on Saturday morning to protest the attack on journalists. Later, the protest procession with the participation of people from different classes and professions circled the main road.
