Dhaka College, Ideal College students clash again, 5 injured

At least five people were injured in a clash between students of Dhaka College and Ideal College in the capital on Thursday noon.
At the time, traffic movement disrupted in Dhanmondi, New Market and Shahabagh areas causing suffering to the commuters.
Shafiqul Islam Shabu, Officer-in-charge of New Market Police Station, confirmed the matter to the media and said that on Wednesday night some students of Dhaka College beat up a student of Ideal College over a trifling matter. Following the incident, students of Ideal College vandalised a bus of Dhaka College on Thursday morning.
As a sequel, students of Dhaka College took position in front of Ideal College in Central Road area and vandalised a motorcycle and hurled brickbats at the Ideal College building, leaving four to five people injured, OC added.
