Youth convicted for eve teasing

A Mobile Court conducted by Bidhan Kanti Haldar, Executive Magistrate and A Clands of Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhatt district convicted a debauched youth and sentenced him to suffer simple imprisonment for six months on the charge of eve teasing a school girl of Shrin Haq Pilot Girls’ High School, Fakirhat on Monday, according to a delayed report received here. The convicted is Shahidul Islam (20), son of one Md. Moazzem Hawladar of village Natun Char Daulatkhan under Kalkini Upazila in Madaripur district. He is now the owner a restaurant at Fakirhat Bazar.
It is learnt from Smar Krisna Roy, Headmaster of Shrin Haq Pilot Girls’ High School that on Monday mooring at about 10 am while the victim girl who is a student of Class-IX of the School was coming to the school from her residence the convicted youth eve teased her very nakedly.
