Bangladesh face England in 2nd ODI today

Bangladesh Cricket team will face England Cricket team in the second One Day International (ODI) match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur today. The match will begin at 12.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Private satellite sports channel T Sports and private satellite channel GTV will telecast the match live from the arena.
Bangladesh lost to England by three wickets in the first ODI game at the same venue on March 1.
Before today’s match, Bangladesh faced England in 22 ODI matches. Of them, Bangladesh earned four wins, while England posted 18 victories.
Dawid Malan of England Cricket team remained unbeaten with 141 runs and helped his side to post a narrow three-wicket victory over Bangladesh. The difference between Bangladesh Cricket team and England Cricket team was Dawid Malan in the first ODI match.
After the first ODI match, Dawid Malan said, ” The bowlers of England Cricket team restricted Bangladesh team to 209 runs which helped us to win the match. If Bangladesh scored 250 to 260 runs, the result would be different. In that time, we have to strike more hits against the bowlers.”
Malan was impressed with the bowling of the hosts bowlers. He said, ” They bowled extremely well. They picked up wickets in genuine time and kept us under pressure. We built some partnership and won the match at last.”
Captain of England Cricket team Jos Buttler said, ” I am highly delighted that we won the first match. We spoke lot of times about the conditions of here. The conditions is really tough. Malan’s innings is the example for everybody how to play in this conditions.”
Captain of Bangladesh team Tamim Iqbal said, ” We have to give credit to Dawid Malan. He played really well against our tight and controlled bowling attack. I thought the position we were in, we should have scored at least 30-35 more. It was a good wicket for spinners.”
