Imam urged to be aware of anti-liberation forces

Former Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor on Saturday urged Imams to be more aware of anti-liberation forces for the sake of protecting the spirit of the Liberation War.
“A good number of model mosques have been constructed across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina which was rare in the world,” he said.
The former minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion on “Preventing Militancy-Terrorism and Wellbeing of Alem Society” held on the premises of T&T field in Nilphamari town.
“We have to stand against the evil forces who were intended to draw Sheikh Hasina as anti-Islamic,” Noor said, reports BSS.
The popular cultural personality further said that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman established the Islamic Foundation which has taken the honour of Imam and Muazzins of the country to a new height.
