Mother, son arrested along with drug in Fakirhat

2 drug traders mother Begum Aktar (40) and her son Rajan Shikar (20) were arrested along with drug from Chakuli area within Betaga Union under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat district by a contingent of the intelligent branch of Khulna Divisional Narcotic Control Department in the evening of Wednesday at 7 pm, according to delayed report received here.
It is learnt from the police of Fakirhat Model PS that acting on secret information the contingent of Narcotic Control Department raided Chakuli area, arrested the mother and son and recovered 100 grams ganja from their possession. Arrested mother Begum Aktar is the wife of one Iqbal Shikdar of village Chakuli and the son Rajan Shikdar is their son. Muhammad Alimuzzaman, Officer-in-Charge of Fakirhat Model PS confirmed the matter and told, in this connection a case was registered with PS under Narcotic Act.
