Ctg customs begin auction of 86 lots of products

Chattogram Customs House authorities have called the first auction of this year after a gap of more than three months.
The first auction of this year began on Sunday with a total of 86 lots of products. However, most of the products included
in the auction were auctioned earlier.Last year’s auction program of Chattogram Customs ended with auction number
42 on October 30 last year. After that Chattogram Customs was engaged in some work of destruction of goods. Now the re-auction process has been started. As can be seen from the auction catalogue, shoe glue, pencil batteries, small pistons and Daku brand batteries have been auctioned several times. Even trying to sell mega lots did not sell.
Other lots in the auction include various fabrics, tamarind seeds, readymade garments cotton, blanket fabric, plastic hangers, industrial fans and washing machines, machineries, crude diesel, oil in various jerry cans, air compressors, textile chemicals, paper tags, calendars and diaries etc. There are also two cars.
Among them, an ambulance and a Toyota microbus. According to customs information, sale of auction catalogs and tenders has started from January 29.
