First death anniv of Justice FRMl Ahsan observed

Speakers called to come forward for preserving life and works of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan at the first death anniversary of him.
This was said by the speakers at a memorial meeting marking the first death anniversary of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan was held at Ashwini Kumar Hall in Barishal city on Saturday.
The chief guest of the programme Seniyabat Sadiq Abdullah said that he was an honest and principled person, such a person is very necessary for the society and the country, I respect him.
Special guest Barishal University VC Prof Dr. Sadekul Arefin said late Justice Nazmul Ahsan has given many important judgments as a judge which the people of the country will remember, especially the name of the freedom fighters before the names of the brave freedom fighters, Joy Bangla slogans for everyone, Jahalm’s trial is significant.
Barishal Lawyers Association President Adv Lashkar Nurul Haque presided over the programme.
Among others Ekushey Padak award winner journalist Ajoy Dasgupta, Barishal Zilla Parishad Chairman Advocate AKM Jahangir Hossain, AL leader Khan Altaf Hossain Vulu, Syed Dulal, Nazmul Hossain Akash, Rafiqul Islam and younger brother journalists of the deceased Tawfiq Maruf.
They said Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan was a humble, honest man. Throughout his life he has worked with integrity, he has acted with utmost integrity in court and delivered some landmark judgments. In his death, Barisal lost its beloved son, the country lost a meritorious son.
