Jobseekers demand to increase age limit for govt service entry

The government jobseekers demanded to increase the maximum age limit to 35 for entry into the government job permanently and the maximum fee Tk 200 for the job application.
They expressed their demands from a protest rally on Saturday in front of National Museum of Shahbagh. The students from different districts joined the rally.
The students said that we obtained the certificate after studying for 25-26 years. Our expectation was remained to take family responsibility after getting a job. But it is regretfully, we are not able to get our own responsibility now. What will take care of the family there?
Shaon Akhter, come from Chattogram, said, “A student completes her graduation and post-graduation at age of 26 to 27 years old. After passing her graduation, he/she gets only three or five years for getting job.”
“The creative activities, research and higher studies as well as self entrepreneur are being prevented by limited age limit for getting job. Because the students choose their future as an employee as they cannot entry into the job after passing the age limit,” She added.
