Messi and Argentina to arrive in June in Dhaka

Argentina Football team led by Lionel Messi will arrive in June in Dhaka to play a FIFA friendly match. Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has arranged to bring Argentina in June, 2023. If everything goes well Argentina will play a FIFA friendly match against a team, which have not yet finalised.
President of Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Salahuddin said to a local website, ” The tour of Argentina is almost confirm. We are now discussing with Argentina Football Association about the terms and condition to come Dhaka and play a FIFA friendly match. Argentina Football Association informed us that Argentina team want to arrive here in June to utilize the ‘FIFA Window’. If we can agree with the terms and conditions with Argentina Football Association, it is confirm that Argentina Football team led by Lionel Messi will arrive in Dhaka in June.”
Meanwhile, the Bangabandhu National Stadium is now under renovation works. The big bowl is not prepared to stage the upcoming FIFA friendly match.
However, the BFF boss said, ” We have submitted a letter to the National Sports Council (NSC). We stated NSC to prepare the big bowl as early as possible to stage the FIFA friendly match there.”
” Argentina Football Association informed us that they will discuss with their Head Coach Scaloni to finalise the opponent team against Argentina in the FIFA friendly match. The Association will propose some teams for the FIFA friendly match against Argentina. Then we shall finally choose the opponent team of Argentina”, he added.
