Next national polls will be free and fair: AL

Ruling Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Monday said that the next national polls would be inclusive, free, fair, credible and participatory one.
“Under the Election Commission, the next national polls will be credible, free, fair and inclusive one where all eligible political parties are expected to participate,” the AL General Secretary said at a rally organised by the party’s Dhaka South City unit at the party’s Bangabandhu Avenue central office in the capital.
“As many countries including the USA is concerned about the next general elections it will be acceptable for all,” he said.
Obaidul Quader, made the remark following foreign concerns including the USA to hold free and fair national polls.
The AL leader also encouraged the party activists about Awami League’s Victory in the next national polls saying the people are with the ruling party.
“We are doing enough for the people of the country. The people also know that, so, you need not worry. Awami League will achieve victory even if the Election Commission holds a free and fair election,” he said.
