Four shops burn in Gafargaon

Four shops were gutted due to fire in Kashem BSC market in Shilasi Out Signal area of Gafargaon municipality on Saturday night around 2 o’clock.When the fire broke out fire service personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control within 1 hour.damage was about 6.5 lakh tk.
According to Farrier Service and local residents, traders of Kashem BSC Mark Manik and Badal had 4 shops each of 2. Two Manohari and one gas bottles, rice shop. After they closed the shop and went home at night the fire broke out in Manik’s shop around 2 am. After spreading in nearby shops. Getting the news a team of fire service reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Gafargaon police station OC Faruq Ahmed said that after receiving the news of the fire a police team reached the spot and controlled the law and order situation.
