Stakeholders’ Consultation Workshop held in Sylhet

A day-long Stakeholders’ Consultation Workshop on ‘Provision of Fish Drying Plant Installation, Fish Feed Pelleting Machines, Insulated Fish Box with Van and Brood Bank Establishment’, organized by Community-based Climate Resilient Fisheries and Aquaculture Development in Bangladesh, at Hotel Metro International, Sylhet on Tuesday.
The project was jointly implemented by the Department of Fisheries (officials) and related stakeholders (CBO leaders).
Beneficiaries from Project command areas of Sylhet and Chattogram divisions as well as officials from the Department of Fisheries (DoF) and Food and ASgriculture Organisation (FAO) participated in the workshop.
The Stakeholders’ Consultation Workshop was chaired by Deputy Director, Department of Fisheries, Sylhet Division, Sylhet. Deputy Director, Department of Fisheries, Chattogram Division, Cumilla was the chief guest on the occasion. Senior Technical Adviser (Fisheries) Musabe Norman as a representative of FAO BD and Project Director of Community-based Climate Resilient Fisheries and Aquaculture Development in Bangladesh was present.
A total of 35 participants from the DoF, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, Deputy Directors, District Fisheries Officers and Senior Upazila Fisheries Officers, Hatchery Officers, Project Director of the Community-based Climate Resilient Fisheries and Aquaculture Development in Bangladesh, Officials of the FAO and related stakeholders (Leaders of Community Based Organization) participated in the workshop.
