Admission of 132 students at public schools cancelled in Barishal City

Admission of 132 students of class-three has been canceled due to giving mess information in admission form of different public schools of the city.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICET) Mandeep Gharai confirmed the matter on Wednesday afternoon. He said that the admission of 132 students in the first phase was canceled due to the use of multiple birth certificates in their admission related information of intake-applications. Creating more than one birth certificate and using multiple names, they messed up the information in the admission.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner further said among those enrolled 132 students, 51 were from Barisal Government Girls High School, 52 from Government Zilla School, 4 from Government Model School and College, 4 from Government Shaheed Abdur Rob Serniabat Secondary School and 4 from Government Shaheed Arju Moni Secondary School. Now cancellation process is going on and press applications would be called if the seats would become vacant.
In this regard, Mahabooba Hossain, head teacher of Barishal Government Girls’ High School, said those admissions performed through digital lottery were canceled due to multiple mess of facts provided in their application forms .
