Blood donation, winter clothes distributed in Gazipur

A blood donation and winter clothes distribution programme was held for the freedom fighters and their family members on the occasion of Great Victory Day.
The event was organized at Gazipur Sadar Upazila Bhabanipur Muktijoddha College ground in collaboration with Dhaka Metropolitan Police “Police Blood Bank” and Friends Society on Saturday.
Chairman of Friends Society Shah Omar Farooq presided over the event and Gazipur Superintendent of Police Qazi Shafiqul Alam BPM (Bar).
 As special guests, Gazipur Sadar Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Riaz Uddin (Riaz), Gazipur District Awami Volunteer League President Adv. Musharraf Bhuiyan, Virmuktijoddha Ali Azgar (Madhu), Officer-in-Charge of Joydevpur Police Station Mahtab Uddin, Acting Principal of Muktijoddha College Abul Hashem.
Gazipur District Humanitarian Blood Donor Organization President Muhiuddin (Shimul), Friends Society member Monir Sarkar, Delwar Hossain and leaders of various organizations were also present. In the speech of the chief guest, the Superintendent of Police said that he called on the police to cooperate fully to prevent corruption.
