Youth Conference held in Sylhet

The LEAD Bangladesh Youth Conference organized by IDEA in collaboration with the British Council was held in a city hotel at Darga Gate on Wednesday.
IDEA President Prof. Dr Abul Fateh Fattah Prisided this Conference when Sylhet Agricultural University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Jamal Uddin Bhuaiyan attended the conference as a chief guest.
He said in his speech, our youth and young people want to work in building the country and nation. They want our country to move forward through proper leadership. Lead Bangladesh project is mainly working to develop the leadership of our youth.
Professor Dr. Md. Jamal Uddin Bhuna also said, if we get the right leadership, our youth can change this society and the country. They can play a role across the borders of the country, even when they go to the outside world, they can talk about Bangladesh. They can be the charioteer of our dreams. He said that the future leadership will come out of the 500 students of Sylhet who participated in this project. Those who will work to create a real Sonar Bangla.
Nazmul Haque, Executive Director of IDEA gave a welcome address at the beginning of the conference.
Sushma Bhattacharya, Project Coordinator of Lead Bangladesh Project presented the details of the project in the conference moderated by IDEA Officer Tamanna Ahmed. Farhana Chowdhury spoke among the participants in the conference.
Lead Bangladesh Project has worked with 500 stuents from various colleges and universities in Sylhet to develop leadership and skills. Among them, the project was completed with a youth conference with 200 students in Sylhet .
